1) I just purchased the chip and followed the suggested circuit diagram to connect the USB cable to the chip using the correct capacitors and resistors. I didn’t use a development board or find a mouse with this specific chip.

2) I bought 10 of these chips on digikey a while ago. But it is currently an outdated chip.


This should work with any mouse chip that has a USB interface (i.e. doesn’t communicate with the microcontroller first and then the computer via USB)
